At Tavistock Woodland Sawmill, we not only stock all the pressure treated Tanalised sawn, PAR/PSE, planed and chamfered Redwood and Regularised timber that you may require, but also all the screws, galvanised nails, Thunderbolts, Rawlbolts, hammer fixings, coachbolts, coachscrews, and connector plates to help you with your project! Or, if you don’t want the hassle of doing it yourself, we manufacture our own range of heavy duty garden furniture (picnic tables, benches, garden seats, porch swing seats, tables, arbours, sun shelters, planters and more), driveway/entrance gates, field gates, fence panels, trellis etc. If you don’t see what you are after, contact us and we’ll be happy to help you. A delivery service is available on our products so you do not need to worry about if it’ll fit in your car.

Although the pressure treated Tanalised timber at Tavistock Woodland Sawmill does not require any more treatment at all, however you may want to change the colour. If so, Tavistock Woodland Sawmill stocks various stains and treatments such as Barrettine and Cuprinol if you do want to stain or further treat your timber.

Of course Tavistock Woodland Sawmill is probably best known for having a 5 acre site carrying more timber than anyone else locally, in fact some of the big names (legally I can’t be specific!) come to us when their customers want large or unusual size timbers, because we either stock it or we can cut it on our own sawmill. Approximately 6 years ago Tavistock Woodland Sawmill invested in another sawmill which allows us to cut our own timber from the round. Species include but are not limited to Douglas Fir, Spruce, Western Red Cedar and Larch which is then pressure treated. Why go to the nationals when you can come direct to the source? Tavistock Woodland Sawmill is one of the last independents still going, and it has supported the local economy since 1908, so why not help keep a tradition going and come to Tavistock Woodland Sawmill, it is English owned (a rarity nowadays) and employs local people. All our logs are also sourced locally, not imported from abroad like most of the big companies.
